Must have FOH serving expperience, kitchen or management experience is preferred. Full and extensive paid training will be provided.

Bartender

The assignment: mix amazing craft cocktails and serve up premium beer and wine that live up to our legendary pizzas. That alone would be a pretty sweet job, but there’s more.

Provide outstanding recommendations to guests based on their drink preferences and your knowledge of libations. Most importantly, serve as a living, breathing, hard-working example of the Mellow Mushroom vibe; be the coolest of the cool, a master of all things Mellow.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guide guests and fellow Mellow team members to new and favorite libations; act as match maker between beverages and the legendary Mellow menu

SUMMARY

The Bartender is one of the most important roles at Bar K, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of drinks for our guests.  You are often the team member who will interact most with many of our guests and can have a significant impact on a guest’s experience.  A successful Bartender will be friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about all aspects of our menu and operations.  Bartenders will report to the Bar Manager.

Our goal at Bar K is to demonstrate an unsurpassed level of customer service to Bar K guests — both human and dog – to ensure that all guests have a joyful experience that consistently exceeds expectations. 

It is a complex concept that requires expert execution across multiple business segments including food and beverage, marketing, dog recreation, retail and others. 

SUMMARY

The Dishwasher is a critical role at Bar K, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, eating utensils and all other equipment which may be used in preparation of items on the Bar K menu.  The Dishwasher reports to the Kitchen Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with the Company’s leadership team and outside marketing agency to:

  • Maintaining the dish room and dish machine and assists with cleaning other areas of the space as requested.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
  • Perform more than one task at a time.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Operate dish washing machines to company and manufacturer specifications.
  • Restock all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans throughout the shift.
  • Keep all trash and dumpster areas clean and organized.
  • Assist with taking out garbage when needed.
  • Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
