Winslow's Table is the casual, all day neighborhood concept of Take Root Hospitality, a James Beard–recognized restaurant group that also includes Bistro La Floraison and Vicia. Known for crafting brunch favorites as well as seasonally-driven menu items from morning till night, Winslow's offers a fast-paced position in a busy, longstanding restaurant. 

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate BOH person to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have prior professional kitchen experience, but we’re also willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to grow in a fine dining environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside a talented culinary team in one of St. Louis’ most celebrated restaurant groups.

Schedule & Compensation

• PM shifts are available Wednesday through Saturday.

• Compensation includes hourly pay + team-based tip share ($15.00 hourly starting pay)

• Average earnings: $20-$23 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and execute dishes to the standards of the restaurant

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient station

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure consistency and excellence

• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times

• Assist with dish station as needed

• Support prep work, station setup, and breakdown as needed

• Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred

As a Crew Member, you’ll be responsible for a variety of front- and back-of-house tasks. Daily tasks include running food and drinks to tables, bussing tables, working register and general side work. Quick shifts. Staff meal. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service: Greet guests with a friendly attitude and provide excellent customer service

• Cashier Duties: Take orders, process payments, and handle transactions accurately (if applicable)

• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep workstations, dining areas, and restrooms clean and organized

• Teamwork: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations

• Stock and Replenish: Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed

• Follow Safety and Food Guidelines: Adhere to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations

As a Barista, you’ll be responsible for preparing drinks, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. • Prepare & Serve Beverages: Craft high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages.

• Stock & Inventory: Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.

• Follow Health & Safety Standards: Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed.

• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with coworkers to ensure smooth operations and great service.
