Laundromat Attendant – Compton Heights
Hiring - Customer Service and Satisfaction: Assists customers with the use of payment systems, machine selection and operation, retail purchases, and wash/dry/fold orders; handles customer questions/concerns and informs Store Manager, as needed.
- Addresses customer concerns and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner; immediately informs Store Manager.
- Wash/Dry/Fold: Washing, drying, and folding clothing and linen. Provides a consistent quality product to the customer by choosing the appropriate equipment, services, and products for clothing and completing the order with care; completes logs accurately.
- Store Cleanliness and Upkeep: Ensures that the highest level of cleanliness is maintained inside and outside of the store at all times; follows proper cleaning routines and documents completion.
- Building and Equipment Maintenance: Documents equipment and building maintenance issues appropriately, escalating unsafe situations Store Manager. Performs general maintenance of machines including cleaning dryer vents, keeping exterior of machines cleaned, and removing objects left inside of machines. Sweeping and mopping on a daily basis.
- Store Safety and Security: Maintains a safe environment inside and outside of the store by following proper security procedures and prioritizing employee and customer safety.
- Policies and Procedures: Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Assistant Operations Manager
Position Description
Under the direction of the WashStudio Owner and Operator, the Laundromat Operations Manager will assist the owner with the successful operations of (3) WashStudio locations and is responsible for the daily duties of maintaining exceptional levels of customer service, team leadership, and operational excellence while delivering clean, safe, and friendly self-service laundromat, drop-off laundry, and pick-up and delivery experiences.
Responsibilities
· People Leadership:
o Supervises and trains laundromat staff. Ensures and maintains the productivity level of employees.
o Effectively schedules employees to business demands and tracks employee time and attendance.
o Utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.
o Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensures employees do the same within the team.
· Customer Service & Front Desk Operations:
o Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
o Answers patron questions, assists with machine selection and operations, the use of payment systems. Handles questions/concerns and informs Store Owner as required.
o Oversees the drop-off and pick-up processes for wash & fold and dry-cleaning orders.
o Oversees cash drawer operations including cash balancing and reporting, petty cash, and deposits.
o Ensures that patrons experience a friendly and enjoyable experience at the laundromat.
· Laundry Operations:
o Wash/Dry/Fold: Washing, drying, and folding clothing and linen. Provides a consistent, high-quality service to the customer by choosing the appropriate equipment, services, and products for clothing and completing the order with care; completes logs accurately.
o Ensure WDF operations are efficient. Monitor and assess quality of laundry processing. Perform regular quality checks for WDF orders.
· Facility Management:
o Store Cleanliness and Upkeep: Ensures that the highest level of cleanliness is always maintained inside and outside of the store; follows proper cleaning routines and documents completion.
o Oversees the general maintenance of machines including cleaning dryer vents, keeping exterior of machines cleaned, and removing objects left inside of machines. Sweeping and mopping on a daily basis.
