    Overview:

    At Vino Grotta, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. As a Server Assistant/Busser, you will support our serving staff by ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment, allowing our team to focus on delivering oustanding service.

    Key Responsibilites:

    • Table/Bar Maintenance: Assist in clearing and resetting tables and bar promptly after guests depart, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere for new guests.
    • Support Service Staff: Help servers with delivering food and beverages, as well as taking and refilling drink orders as needed.
    • Guest Interaction: Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and that they feel welcome throughout their visit.
    • Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes and glasses and organizing utensils and condiments.
    • Stocking Supplies: Assist in stocking service areas with necessary supplies, such as glassware, utensils and napkins, ensuring everything is readily available for the team.
    • Communication: Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and effecitve communication during service.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred, but not required.
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-pased environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
    • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
    • Texas Food Handler and TABC certificates.

    • Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation.
    • Texas Food Handler and TABC certifications.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
