Vicia, the flagship restaurant from Take Root Hospitality, is seeking a new general manager to lead their the award winning team. Known for seasonally driven cuisine and exceptional hospitality, the General Manager should bring at least 3 years of hospitality leadership to the position. 

Responsibilities include:

• Oversight of marketing, finance, special events, etc
• General responsibility for managing staff, revenue, cost of goods
• Daily operations such as reservation management, team line ups, menu editing and floor service
• Hiring, training and continuing education
• Guest management and retention
• Oversee building maintenance and repairs as needed
• Manage Toast point of sale database
• Seek and develop ways to grow sales and incentive team members

The ideal candidate brings the following experience: 

• 3+ years in hospitality leadership position
• Service experience in fine dining
• Computer skills to include Mac-based software, Toast POS, Resy or similar reservation management, Excel and Word. Knowledge of Adobe Indesign a plus!
• Positive attitude and mindset to find creative solutions
• Ability to encourage and motivate teams

The position is available starting mid-december. Timeline can be adjusted for the right candidate if necessary.

We are hiring for a line cook at our flagship fine dining restaurant, Vicia. We are seeking an individual with previous kitchen experience and are willing to train the right person. Shifts begin between 1 and 2 pm Tuesdays-Saturdays.

Compensation is a combination of hourly and team based tip share (average $22-24 per hour).
