Job Overview:
This position includes food preparation, service, and/or sanitation tasks. Prepare food by reading and following recipes according to instructions. Follow proper food handling techniques. Assist in completing the Serving Line Worksheets. Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and secure working area. Set up service/preparation areas as assigned. Provide high-quality service to customers; assist in meeting the department’s customer service objectives. Direct, help train, and assist student employees in food preparation and service. Clean and replenish the service/preparation areas, dining room, and dishwashing/pot-and-pan areas during and after service. Complete required training. Help the department constantly improve and reach its vision. Perform other duties as assigned.

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, alternating weekends

This position includes basic food preparation (ie. building sandwiches/pizza, etc.) service (plating food), and/or sanitation tasks. Prepare food according to instructions. Follow proper food handling techniques. Assist in completing the Serving Line Worksheets. Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and secure working area. Set up service/preparation areas as assigned. Provide high-quality service to customers; assist in meeting the department’s customer service objectives. Direct, help train, and assist student employees in food preparation and service. Clean and replenish the service/preparation areas, dining room, and dishwashing/pot-and-pan areas during and after service. Complete required training. Responsibilities:
• Prepare fried items (fries, burgers, fish.) to perfection according to recipes.
• Operate fryers safely and efficiently while monitoring cook times and temperatures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary frying station at all times.
• Assist with food prep and contribute to overall kitchen operations.
• Communicate with the team to ensure smooth service and timely food delivery.
Requirements:
• Prior kitchen experience preferred but not required—we’ll teach you!
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.

Set up the dish machine and, if applicable, the pot-and-pan washing station. Direct, help train, and assist student employees in the dishwashing and pot-and-pan washing operations. Disassemble and clean/maintain the dish machine. Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and secure working area. Provide high-quality service to customers; assist in meeting the department’s customer service objectives. Help the department constantly improve and reach its vision (commitment to excellence and passion for people). Assist with sorting and securing all food items, paper goods, and other items. Perform other duties as assigned.

11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, alternating weekends
