Description
General Responsibilities:
- Cleaning: Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, cages, runs, and yards
- Feeding: Providing food and water to animals according to their needs
- Exercising: Taking animals on walks and playing with them in play areas
- Grooming: Assisting with bathing, brushing, and trimming nails
- Healthcare: Administering medication and treatments as directed by management or veterinary staff
- Record keeping: Maintaining records of animal care, behavior, treatments, vaccinations, and medications
- Customer service: Answering phones and assisting customers with inquiries and reservations, and providing emotional support and companionship to animals
- Following all safety regulations and guidelines

Dog Trainer

Description
Our dog trainers teach dogs basic and advanced obedience, behavioral skills, and performance activities. As a trainer, you may also work with dogs to prepare them for competitions, veterinary visits, or to assist people with disabilities.
General Responsibilities:
- Meet with owners: Discuss behavioral issues and expectations for training
- Design lessons: Develop a curriculum and use positive reinforcement methods to teach dogs new behaviors and break negative habits
- Provide feedback: Keep owners updated on their dog's progress
- Document training: Maintain accurate records of each client's training regimen
- Mentor owners: Teach owners effective training techniques
