Assistant Store Manager – Tonyburgers

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Tonyburgers is hiring motivated and experienced Assistant Store Managers to help lead daily restaurant operations and support our growing teams. This role is ideal for someone with restaurant leadership experience who enjoys running shifts, coaching team members, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in supervising daily operations, leading shifts, and supporting both front-of-house and kitchen teams. You’ll help ensure food quality, guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and operational efficiency while creating a positive and productive work environment.

 


 

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and support teams of 4–8 employees per shift

  • Train, coach, and onboard new team members

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-energy work environment

  • Delegate tasks effectively to keep service running smoothly

Customer Service Excellence

  • Deliver outstanding guest experiences every shift

  • Handle customer questions, concerns, and feedback professionally

  • Maintain a welcoming and friendly restaurant atmosphere

Restaurant Operations

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures

  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies

  • Oversee food preparation, quality control, and presentation

  • Ensure cleanliness and operational standards are consistently met

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations

  • Conduct routine safety checks and training

  • Address safety concerns promptly

Scheduling & Staffing

  • Assist with employee scheduling and shift coverage

  • Ensure proper staffing levels during peak periods

Cost Control & Efficiency

  • Support portion control, waste reduction, and operational efficiency

 


 

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or quick-service leadership experience preferred

  • Strong communication and people-management skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

  • Basic computer skills for scheduling and inventory

  • Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
