About Tippi Toes Dance Company: Tippi Toes Dance Company is not a typical brick & mortar dance studio; we bring dance into schools. This service meets our dancers where they are and gives families more time together because they aren’t driving all over town to get to class. Students love to go to dance class with their school friends and feel comfortable in the familiar space.
Tippi Toes has been sharing joy with children since 1999. What started as a dream of founder Sarah Nuse turned into a reality. From one small location in Norman, OK, we've grown to 40 locations across the country. Our vision is to instill confidence, positivity, and joy into the lives of children. It is not easy, but we work hard to make a difference!
Job Title: Dance Instructor
Location: Tippi Toes Lakewood
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Teach dance classes in various schools throughout the Lakewood area
- Follow a set curriculum with provided choreography (no choreography creation required)
- Communicate professionally and maintain personal and professional boundaries
- Be culturally sensitive when working with diverse populations
- Experience working with youth is a plus
Schedule & Work Setting:
- Day shift
- In-person teaching at schools throughout Lakewood
Compensation:
- $25-26 per class taught
- $18.5 for all other duties

Qualifications:
- Performance background (dance, theatre, cheer, character work) is a plus but not required
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Must have a current driver’s license and access to a car
- Must be willing to undergo a background check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25-26.00 per hour
