Job Description
Assistant Manager is assigned to two or more primary Post Sports Bar & Grill locations.
Assistant Manager reports to the General Manager of primary stores worked, as well as the Chief Operations Officer of The Post,Franchise, LLC
Position Type: Hourly (30-40 hours/week). Overtime non-exempt.
Responsibilities
• Store Management: Responsible for properly opening and closing the store, as well as assisting with
general shift duties such as bussing tables, running food, and greeting customers.
• Staff Management: Proactive management of entire staff including developmental and disciplinary
meetings, conversations, and coaching.
• Opening and Closing duties: Safe counts, opening and closing paper work, locking up restaurant
and setting alarm along with the rest of the opening and closing checklists
• Hosting Duties: Proactively engage guests and ensure all guests leave with a smile on their faces.
• Greeting Guests: Greet guests as they enter the store.
• Guest Issues: Responsible for preventing or defusing guest issues and complaints.
• Guest Satisfaction: The guests always come first. Do what is necessary to ensure they leave with a
smile on their face.
• Office work: Required to complete manager log and other administrative tasks.
• Side work: Maintaining restaurant cleanliness per Post standards.
• Communication: Timely response to any and all inquiries from a superior or fellow manager along
with essential communication with fellow team members and subordinates.
• Teamwork: Work within a team-oriented framework by proactively assisting other team members
day in and day out. The sum of the whole is greater than its parts.
