Bistro Front of House Manager Job Description
This highly organized professional is a motivating leader. Encouraging staff to meet and exceed goals and to provide the highest quality experience for our guests. Must have a strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, productivity, inventory controls, P&L analysis, food and beverage cost, and labor costs. Technical skills to include Micros, Open Table and standard word processing software. Establish quantity and quality output standards for personnel in all positions within the department and implement corrective action steps if necessary. Mentor and develop growing talent for the company. Directly supervise all elements of guest services. This individual must be willing to work flexible hours and high profile events.
Position Function:
Directly supervise all elements of guest services for FOH and maintain cost accounting for labor & Beverage costs.
Aggressively pursue keeping a profitable number of covers to maximize our seasonal customer traffic flow.
Use exceptional conflict resolution and logistic skills to direct customers and staff in a full capacity service environment.
Essential Functions:
- Aid in development and monitoring of operations for each of the department’s revenue outlets;
- Monitoring and administering and any corrective action as necessary to help assure that budget and cost goals are maintained
- Assures that all standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control are in place and
Consistently utilized
- Purchasing and receiving orders for products to ensure quality and pricing
- Approve and code all product invoices before submitting to the accounting department
- Inspects to ensure that all safety, sanitation, energy management, preventive maintenance and other standards are consistently met
- Audits and approves weekly payroll
- Cooperation with marketing department to develop sales and promotions
- Support and cooperatively develop menus proposed with the Culinary Team.
- Manage the long-range staffing needs of the Front of House.
- Maintains appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all service and beverage equipment for bistro and Bistro Patio facilities
- Greets guests and oversees actual service
- Ensure checks and balances of food presentation and portions
- Cooperatively assist Private Event director including event execution sales and guest relations when necessary.
- Collaborate with Executive Chef & Private Events on corrective actions regarding guest complaints
- Maintains and improves on-going professional development and training programs for FOH
- Administering disciplinary action, including: write-ups and terminations

Dishwasher
The Bistro at Les Bourgeois Vineyards
Description
The position of Dishwasher is an entry-level job that requires the cleaning and sanitizing of all Kitchen and Front of House cookware, flatware, glassware and dishware.
During periods when time is available, the Dishwasher is expected to do more thorough cleaning and sanitizing work on the line and in the Kitchen in addition to aiding in any preparation work, as directed by the managing Chef. Must be able to comply with COVID-19 sanitation skills.
Must be 18 years or older to be eligible for this position
