Description
Job Knowledge and Responsibilities:
- Provide initial and ongoing training/guidance to deli associates in areas of customer service, safety and security, equipment operation, cash control, and inventory control.
- Operate the deli within company guidelines to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Accurately post sales, invoices, markups and markdowns, voids, and bad food write-offs within established guidelines.
- Project a positive image of the company, store, and deli at all times.
- Work in a team-like fashion with other employees to accomplish goals and tasks.
- Give all customers prompt and courteous service and ensure that deli employees do the same.
- Ensure proper sale and accounting for money during shifts
- Ensure all shifts are adequately covered.
- Maintain a clean safe environment by adhering to all food safety standards.
