About Us:
Stacked is a full service, fast paced gourmet burger bar that has been in the Carondelet neighborhood for 10 years! Our Chef/part owner has started a new venture and we are ready to welcome a new head Chef to our team! We take great pride in providing our guests with a wonderful experience from start to finish. We are excited for some fresh ideas to take us into the next chapter!
What's Involved:
- Ensuring all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to restaurant standards
- Make employment and termination decisions (interviewing, hiring, rewarding and disciplining where appropriate)
- Act as a mentor and guide to all restaurant staff
- Oversee training (including on the spot training) of all new kitchen employees
- Schedule BOH employees (7Shifts scheduling program)
- Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection
- Work with Stacked owners and managers on menu pricing and planning
- Create new menu items, create recipes, establish portion sizes and procedures
- Develop monthly burger special and other collaborations
- Establish relationships with vendors and place orders in a timely manner avoiding any product shortages
- Check orders as they come in
- Ensure shifts run smoothly and maintain reasonable ticket times
- Work alongside FOH managers to promote smooth service
- Address issues quickly and appropriately
- Create and maintain a positive work environment
Wage & Benefits
- Hourly Wage - $50,000-$58,000/year

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in varied kitchen positions
- 6 months + experience in kitchen management
- Must be able to communicate calmly and respectfully with owners, management, staff and guests
- Culinary degreee a bonus but not required
- ServSafe Certified
