Shorty Pants Lounge is the Lake’s favorite Cajun restaurant, serving up authentic Louisiana flavors, cocktails, and good times on the water. Our kitchen team is the backbone of the experience, and we’re looking for skilled, dependable Line Cooks to help us deliver consistent, high-quality dishes to our guests.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Shorty Pants’ recipes and standards

• Operate grill, fryer, sauté, and other kitchen stations with accuracy and speed

• Ensure all food is cooked, plated, and presented correctly before leaving the kitchen

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout each shift

• Assist with prep work, restocking, and end-of-shift cleaning duties

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality control guidelines at all times

• Communicate effectively with other cooks, expediters, and servers to keep service running smoothly

Who You Are

• Prior line cook or kitchen experience preferred (but we’ll train motivated candidates)

• Passionate about cooking and producing high-quality food

• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

• Strong attention to detail, timing, and consistency

• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
