Sharks Restaurant & Billiards has been Shawnee’s home for great food, drinks, and nonstop entertainment since 2006. With a 14,000 sq. ft. venue featuring billiards, darts, golf simulators, arcade games, projection screens, and a full-service bar and kitchen, we’re more than just a restaurant—we’re an experience.
We’re looking for an Assistant Kitchen Manager who can help lead our back-of-house team, maintain food quality, and keep the kitchen running like clockwork in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do

Support the Kitchen Manager in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations.

Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to deliver consistent, high-quality food.

Assist with ordering, inventory control, and food cost management.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Jump in where needed—whether on the line, during prep, or managing expo—to keep service smooth.

Collaborate with FOH leadership to maintain great communication and workflow between kitchen and service staff.
What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in a kitchen supervisory or lead cook role (Assistant Kitchen Manager or equivalent preferred).

Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and cost controls.

Ability to lead by example in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Must be 18+ with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
