Business Development Intern

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven intern to join our team as a Business Development Intern. This position will support the business development functions of the company, working closely with the business development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in business strategy, marketing, and sales, and possess excellent communication, research, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends.

• Assist in the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to expand our customer base.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials.

• Assist in lead generation and qualification activities, including cold calling and email outreach.

• Help manage and maintain the company's CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on prospects and customers.

• Attend industry conferences and events to network and gather information.

• Assist in the development of partnerships and strategic alliances.

• Support ad hoc business development projects and initiatives.

• Other duties as assigned by the business development team.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in business development, marketing, and sales.

• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.

• Experience in sales or marketing is a plus.

This is a paid, part-time internship with flexible hours. The internship duration is 3-6 months with the possibility of extension.
