Position Overview

Prime Bargain is hiring a Retail Cashier & Store Clerk to welcome customers, ring up purchases, restock inventory, and help maintain a clean, organized store. This role is perfect for someone friendly, dependable, and excited about helping people score great deals while keeping our store running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming shopping experience.

• Operate the cash register/POS system—process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately.

• Assist customers in finding products and answering store questions.

• Restock shelves and merchandise displays to keep the store organized and appealing.

• Maintain a clean, safe shopping environment by sweeping, tidying shelves, and keeping work areas neat.

• Unbox deliveries, stock new inventory, and ensure products are labeled and placed correctly.

• Follow store procedures for cash handling, safety, sanitation, and daily operations.

• Support the team with additional tasks and daily needs to keep Prime Bargain running efficiently.

What We’re Looking For

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

• Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer-service skills.

• Accuracy in cash handling and POS operation.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to keep the store clean and organized.

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes or product trays as needed.

• Reliable and punctual with required availability Wednesday through Saturday, plus training dates.

• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
