We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced Dance Instructor to join our talented team. The ideal candidate is passionate about dance, committed to student growth, and comfortable teaching a variety of styles and age groups. This position includes both in-studio and potential virtual instruction.Responsibilities:

Teach weekly dance classes in one or more of the following styles: ballet, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, tap, or acro

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate choreography and technique instruction

Provide constructive feedback while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Prepare students for seasonal recitals

Collaborate with other instructors and staff to support studio events and activities

Maintain a professional and punctual presence in all classes and studio interactions

Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress, attendance, and studio updates
Qualifications:

Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a studio, school, or performance setting

Strong background in at least one core dance style; multi-style proficiency preferred

Ability to work with diverse age groups, from young children to teens

Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset

Comfortable teaching both in-person and via virtual platforms, if needed

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, but not required

Job Description
Director of Education & Instruction
Pinnacle Gymnastics, Dance & Ninja is seeking an experienced educator and leader to oversee instructional excellence across our programs. The Director of Education & Instruction will develop curriculum, create instructional standards, lead staff training, mentor and coach instructors, and provide hands-on support during live classes.
While the primary focus will be gymnastics, this role will support instruction across preschool and recreational gymnastics, competitive gymnastics, tumbling, ninja, and dance. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing people, understands how children learn, and can translate educational best practices into engaging, effective instruction.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys both developing great programs and developing the people who bring those programs to life. Candidates with backgrounds in gymnastics, education, coaching, curriculum development, instructional design, physical education, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor instructors to improve teaching skills and class quality.
- Observe live classes and provide actionable feedback and support.
- Lead new-hire training and ongoing staff professional development.
- Develop and maintain curriculum, skill progressions, and instructional standards.
- Model effective teaching and coaching techniques on the floor.
- Create training resources, lesson-planning tools, and instructional materials.
- Evaluate instructional quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with program leaders across gymnastics, tumbling, ninja, and dance.
- Teach classes and provide hands-on instructional support as needed.
- Help create consistency and excellence in instruction across Pinnacle's programs and locations.
