    • The job responsibilities of both host and cashier are similar in that they serve to frame the dining experience of our guests.
    • The initial greeting by the host/hostess sets the tone – he/she should be friendly and helpful! As the guests leave, it is important that they see a sincere appreciation from the host staff for dining with at the restaurant and that the guests are invited to return again.   They will take home with them a clear picture of a superior dining experience.     Job Description

    The kitchen staff is an important part of The Pasta House Co. team. The responsibilities of the kitchen staff include: getting the food to the guests in a timely manner so that the restaurant can serve fresh product, keeping the back of the restaurant clean and organized, and maintaining food quality standards. Kitchen personnel will be expected to work with fellow team members to make exceptional food or to efficiently wash dishes. Always leave the station clean, stocked and ready for the next team member.

    Salad, Pasta & Saute Cook

    The cook’s job will consist mainly of preparing and cooking food according to the Pasta House Co. specifications. He/she will be responsible for keeping the station clean and stocked, using proper sanitation procedures, preparing the correct amounts of food, cooking food in the proper order and allotted times, weekly cleaning projects, and nightly cleaning of your station.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Shares responsibility for the directing and supervising of all activities pertaining to staffing, staff training, food purchasing and production, guest service, sanitation and operating profits.
    • Responsible for the development, guidance and supervision of shift leaders and staff. Responsible for promoting good employee relations, guest experience through service programs by implementing company practices, policies and standards.
    • Observation of personnel appearance, efficiency, behavior and abilities for adherence to company standards. Consult with co-managers and recommend and replace staff as needed.
    • Responsible for maintaining proper procedures for hiring, ordering, receiving and storage of food and beverage items.
    • Responsible for employee hygiene and maintaining general offices’ information flow, guest and employee safety.
    • Make final inspections before and after shifts and participate in each service period by seating guests, monitoring food production or filling in or assisting in as needed in various positions.
    • Reports to the Owners, and General Manager.
    • Maintains a close relationship with the marketing department, property owner, police and fire department and co-management team.
