- The job responsibilities of both host and cashier are similar in that they serve to frame the dining experience of our guests.
- The initial greeting by the host/hostess sets the tone – he/she should be friendly and helpful! As the guests leave, it is important that they see a sincere appreciation from the host staff for dining with at the restaurant and that the guests are invited to return again. They will take home with them a clear picture of a superior dining experience. Remember to always be cheerful, helpful and appreciative.

The kitchen staff is an important part of The Pasta House Co. team. The responsibilities of the kitchen staff include: getting the food to the guests in a timely manner so that the restaurant can serve fresh product, keeping the back of the restaurant clean and organized, and maintaining food quality standards. Kitchen personnel will be expected to work with fellow team members to make exceptional food or to efficiently wash dishes. Always leave the station clean, stocked and ready for the next team member.
Salad, Pasta & Saute Cook
The cook’s job will consist mainly of preparing and cooking food according to the Pasta House Co. specifications. He/she will be responsible for keeping the station clean and stocked, using proper sanitation procedures, preparing the correct amounts of food, cooking food in the proper order and allotted times, weekly cleaning projects, and nightly cleaning of your station.
