Competitive Gymnastics Coach (DP & Xcel) Oak City Gymnastics - Raleigh/Durham, NC Oak City Gymnastics is a growing program seeking a Competitive Team Coach. to support and develop athletes across DP and Xcel levels. We are looking for a coach who is passionate about athlete development and interested in being part of a program that values structure, consistency, and long-term growth. While experience with DP Levels 6–10 and/or Xcel upper levels (Diamond/Sapphire) is preferred, we also welcome candidates with strong developmental coaching experience who are looking to grow into higher-level coaching. Responsibilities Coach competitive gymnasts in DP and/or Xcel programs. Lead structured practices focused on skill development, strength, flexibility, and routine preparation Provide clear, constructive feedback to athletes Ensure athlete safety through proper spotting and supervision Collaborate with coaching staff to support athlete progression and team goals Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and staff Attend and coach at competitions (local, regional, and national as applicable) Assist with additional groups or levels as needed Qualifications Experience coaching gymnastics (competitive and/or strong developmental background) Knowledge of skill progressions and technique Ability to safely spot skills appropriate to assigned level Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Strong communication and organizational skills USAG certification (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for growth into higher-level coaching roles Supportive and team-oriented coaching environment Athletes who are motivated and engaged Ongoing development and education encouraged Schedule Evening weekday hours (primarily 4:00pm–9:00pm) Some weekend availability required for competitions and/or practice  Apply If you are looking for a coaching position where you can make an impact and continue to grow, we would love to hear from you.
