General Responsibilities:

Managing staff: Hiring, training, and scheduling staff to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly. They may also create work schedules, assign tasks, and oversee employee performance.

Managing operations: Overseeing day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures. They also manage orders, stock removal, suppliers, and cash registers.

Managing customers: Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. They also ensure customers receive quality front of house service.

Managing inventory: Ensuring the kitchen is stocked with all of the necessary ingredients, to-go boxes, cups cutlery and dinnerware, etc..

Managing health and safety: Keeping health and safety regulations up to date and ensuring staff follow the recommendations. They also ensure their staff receive appropriate training for example in food safety and hygiene, food allergens and drug and alcohol awareness.

Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The restaurant team member will report to the restaurant manager and oversee the training, onboarding, customer service and facility improvements
- Training of employees on onboarding and provide feedback when necessary.
- Oversee day-to-day operations on improvements and facility needs.
- Handle inventory and maintenance of facility.
- Oversee all open and closing duties of the facility are completed and cleanliness is maintained.
- Handle the safety and health standards of the facility
- Perform any job-related duties as assigned
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand and be on feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to carry and lift 25 lbs. at times
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen services
- Strong listening and verbal communication
- Professional leadership with internal and external individuals

We are currently recruiting for a line cook / food prep cook. This shift operates before the restaurant is open, during restaurant hours, and after close. Shift times may vary.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Ensure food is stored, handled, and prepared safely and in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe execution
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Skills:
- Proficient in food handling and knife skills
- Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work effectively in a dietary department setting
- Willingness to assist with various tasks as needed
Pay:
- $14.00-$16.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Tips (Top Performers Earn +$5.00/hr)
