The Concessions and Attractions Attendant is responsible for operating and monitoring all outdoor attractions, and well as managing concessions sales. Whether inside or outside, these employees offer excellent customer service and answer questions about attractions, party packages, and other company products and services.

Accountability is a critical part to this position. You will be responsible for overseeing attractions while providing a fun and safe environment for customers.  

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, serving customers, and providing outstanding customer service
• Operating cash registers and managing financial transactions
• Directing customers to attraction options within the facility
• Maintaining and operating outdoor attractions responsibly
• Monitoring outdoor attractions to ensure customer satisfaction and safety
• Maintaining an orderly appearance in the concessions counter area
• Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers
• Serving and selling soft drinks and alcohol
• Prepping, handling, and selling food products
• Assisting with large events and birthday parties as necessary, including setup, bussing tables, and cleanup

General Responsibilities: 

• Assist with organizing and executing various events hosted at Midway Golf, ensuring all aspects of the event are well-coordinated and delivered smoothly. 
• Setting up and taking down buffets and assisting service staff as needed 
• Oversee event logistics, including event setup, signage, audiovisual requirements, and any other necessary arrangements. 

• Provide on-site event management and coordinate with other event staff to ensure that all elements of the event run smoothly and according to plan from start to finish. 
• Receive and process event payments in a timely and organized manner.

Requirements and Skills: 

• Ability to work 15-20 hours per week, especially on nights and weekends. 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. 
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. 
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work professionally with clients, vendors, and internal staff.

Job Brief:

Midway Golf & Games is looking for seasonal help for maintenance of the golf course, miniature golf course, and grounds under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent and General Manager. Work hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday and 7:00 am to 11:00 am Saturdays and Sundays. Must work well with others and be physically able to work in all types of weather conditions. Attention to detail and team work are most important.

Responsibilities:

• Duties will include all aspects of Golf Course maintenance including
• Mowing tees, greens, fairways, collars, and rough
• Daily Hand Watering
• Changing Hole locations
• Top Dressing
• Changing Tee locations
• Weedeating
• Weeding Mulch Beds
• Mowing and maintaining lawn areas

Requirements

• Prior golf course maintenance experience is a plus
• Must have strength to pull, lift, push objects weighing at least 50 pounds on a frequent bases. Objects might be but not limited to fertilizer, cement sacks, push spreader, and sod.
• Must be willing to perform all duties described in this job description under adverse weather conditions, including extreme heat and inclement weather.
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Experience operating machinery and equipment
