    Role Overview

    As a Sales Specialist / Driver, you’ll be the face of Junk King to both residential and commercial customers. Your primary responsibilities include selling our removal services, delivering excellent customer experience, and physically hauling items from customer properties. You’ll help uphold our reputation for quick, friendly, and professional service—and ensure each job reflects our values.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Engage with customers to explain services, provide accurate estimates, and close sales.

    • Load, transport, and clear away junk safely and efficiently.

    • Maintain strong customer relationships, delivering service that exceeds expectations.

    • Ensure your vehicle and uniform are clean and represent Junk King well.

    • Follow safety procedures for lifting and handling items.

    • Work closely with team members and management to improve operations and customer service.

     

    What We’re Looking For

    Required Skills & Attributes

    • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and frequently.

    • High energy, great attitude, and strong work ethic.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Reliability, punctuality, and professional appearance and demeanor.

    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

    Preferred but Not Required

    • Experience in junk removal, sales, customer service, or a similar field.

    • Knowledge of basic mechanical or moving tools.

    • Comfortable with travel within the Kansas City area as needed.
