    Job Description

Senior Crew / Manager-in-Training – Grant's Pizza House | Rochester, MI Evenings Only | Kitchen Leadership Role | We Work Around Your Life

    Who We're Looking For

We're a Rochester pizzeria looking for an experienced kitchen operator who knows how to run a pizza line and isn't afraid to take ownership of a shift. If you've put in real time in a pizza kitchen — or a similar fast-paced food operation — and you're looking for a stable, close-to-home evening job where your experience is actually recognized and compensated, this is worth reading.

If you're looking for an understanding employer who can accommodate unique scheduling requirements or just need an employer who will treat you like an adult — we'd like to meet you.

    The Schedule

As a Manager-in-Training, you'll arrive earlier and stay later than the rest of the crew — that's part of the role. On Fridays you'll come in at 2:30pm and close out around 11pm. All other days you'll arrive at 3pm and finish around 10pm. No early mornings. You'll always know your schedule in advance.

    What You'll Do

This is a hands-on kitchen role with real responsibility. On a typical shift you'll be:

    • Prepping the store for opening
    • Running the pizza line — pushing out, saucing, topping, cutting
    • Making dough and baking cookies
    • Preparing pizzas and salads to standard
    • Taking orders by phone and at the register as needed
    • Dispatching delivery drivers and monitoring delivery flow
    • Handling service recovery when something goes wrong
    • Closing and cleaning the store
    • Reconciling the drawer and distributing tips at end of shift

On busy nights — especially Fridays — you're the experienced hand keeping things moving. That matters here.

    What You'll Need

    • At least one year of experience with all aspects of a pizza line: pushing out, saucing, topping, and cutting
    • Familiarity with dough, prep work, and dispatching drivers
    • Experience counting a drawer and closing out a shift
    • We will also consider candidates with comparable experience in similar restaurant environments
    • Must be at least 18 years old

    What This Job Pays

    • $16.00 per hour
    • Plus tips — this role averages an additional $4/hour in tips
    • Total take-home: approximately $20 per hour

Why This Job Is Worth Taking

    • Close to home in Rochester
    • Rarely an early morning — the vast majority of shifts start at 3pm or later
    • Strong total compensation for evening-only hours
    • Your kitchen experience is recognized and rewarded here
    • Vision and dental benefits available to qualifying employees
    • Small local business — you'll be known here, not just a number
    • Stable operation celebrating its 6th year with a growing customer base

A Few Quick Questions Before You Apply

    • Are you at least 18 years old?
    • Are you available Fridays from 2:30pm to approximately 11pm?
    • Are you available other evenings from 3pm to approximately 10pm?

If yes to all three and you have the kitchen experience described above — we want to hear from you.

    Job Description

Delivery Driver – Grant's Pizza House | Rochester, MI Evenings Only | Local Routes | We Work Around Your Life

    Who We're Looking For

We're a Rochester pizzeria looking for dependable people who live nearby and want stable evening work close to home. If you're looking for an understanding employer who can accommodate unique scheduling requirements or just need an employer who will treat you like an adult — we'd like to meet you.

Our best drivers come from kitchen backgrounds — or from smaller operations where everyone wore multiple hats. If that's you, read on.

    The Schedule

We open at 4pm and close no later than 10pm (9pm on weeknights). No early mornings, no late nights. Friday is our biggest night and attendance is required, plus at least one other weekend evening.

    What You'll Do

Most of your shift you'll be making local deliveries — verifying orders, keeping food at the right temperature, navigating with GPS, and confirming delivery to guests. All routes are in Rochester and surrounding neighborhoods.

But this isn't a job for someone who wants to clock out between deliveries. Our top drivers know that when they're not on the road, they're in the kitchen — helping push out orders during a rush, handling prep right after we open, and staying useful through close. The more orders we get out the door, the more deliveries you run. Our best drivers understand that and act accordingly.

When deliveries are slow you might be: answering phones, handling curbside pickups, making salads, running the pizza line, folding boxes, washing dishes, or closing down the kitchen. If you've worked in a kitchen before — or at a smaller shop where everyone did a little of everything — you'll feel right at home.

    What You'll Need

    • Valid driver's license (held 2+ years)
    • Your own vehicle and auto insurance
    • A relatively clean driving record
    • A smartphone
    • Kitchen experience, or comfort stepping into one — this is a real plus

Why This Job Is Worth Taking

    • Close to home — local routes only
    • Done by 10pm every night
    • Strong tips — high-end pizza, high order accuracy, low re-deliveries
    • Drivers earn significantly more than kitchen-only staff — and our best drivers earn it
    • Vision and dental benefits available to qualifying employees
    • Small local business — you'll be known here, not just a number
    • We promote from within and are actively planning to expand

    Ready to Apply?

If you're reliable, live nearby, have some kitchen in your background, and want an employer who will give you a real chance — apply now.
