Description
Our family owned restaurant originally opened in 2007. On June 12, 2019, we suffered a major fire, resulting in a complete gut and remodel. We re-opened for business in December 2019.
Grand Slam Restaurant & Bar in Fenton, MO is accepting applications for servers, with the possibility of some bartending shifts for the right candidate, or after a training period. We are located on 519 Mae Ct. Our ideal candidate is friendly, self-driven, punctual, and reliable. Must be 18+, 21+ preferred. Nights & Weekends Required.
Responsibilities May Include
Setting the table
Presenting the menu and helping customers select food
Delivering food to tables
Delivering a great customer experience
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
Interact with customers, take orders (on our new tablet based, at the table ordering system!) and serve meals and drinks
Pre-bus and bus tables
Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
Plan and present bar menu
Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Qualifications
Ability to listen and communicate effectively
Ability to multitask efficiently
Strong organizational skills
Experience as a Server, Waitress, or Waiter a plus
Proven working experience as a bartender/ server
Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
Nights & Weekends a must, some week day daytime hours available after training period. Bartenders will start as servers to learn our systems.
Position begins as part time, but can quickly grow to full time.

Since our family owned & operated restaurant, Grand Slam Restaurant & Bar, opened in 2007, it had become a favorite neighborhood hang out in the area. Through the years, we have grown from a sports bar into a full service restaurant known for amazing food, featuring bar favorites such as great sandwiches, wings, pizzas and burgers, but also offering entrees such as monthly zoodle dishes, steak and seafood options, and more. On June 12, 2019, we suffered a major fire, resulting in a complete gut and remodel, and we re-opened in December 2019 with an expanded, state of the art kitchen.
We strive to offer a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. We feature live music appropriate for dinner and fun, as well as karaoke at night. It's a great place to wine, dine and unwind on a daily basis!
Our line cooks are responsible for producing our high quality food, as well as barback as needed. We are located on 519 Mae Ct., Fenton, MO 63026. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working. This person is excited to create dishes that taste and look great, and is dedicated to exceptional guest service.

Able to meet all scheduling commitments; reliable transportation or method of getting to work
Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs

The Pupillo Family is adding another restaurant, Fall 2021!
We look forward to opening Pupillo's Wicked Chicken Cafe! This venue will be a fun new breakfast and lunch venue, located at 3025 High Ridge Blvd, High Ridge, MO 63049,
In order to be staffed and trained when we open, staff is being hired now, to start at Pupillo's Grand Slam Restaurant & Bar, and Pupillo's Banquet & Event Center. When Wicked Chicken Cafe opens, staff will be moved there.

Description
This position is ideal for teens.
Hosts: Greet and seat customers, service and bus staff interaction, oversight of reservations and turn times, general restaurant maintenance.
Food Runners: Run food to tables, check that guests have all necessary utensils and condiments.
To Go Server: Answer phones, take orders, check for accuracy of order, take curbside orders out to cars.
These positions are part time, and employees rotate positions.
