- Responsibilities
Plan and create innovative menus that meet customers' preferences and budget requirements - Oversee food preparation, ensuring high quality and presentation standards
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and supervision
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and specials
- Monitor food costs and work towards maximizing profitability
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Chef in a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and menu planning
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not required
Expected hours: 10 – 50 per week
