Full STEAM Ahead Summer Camp teachers are energetic, passionate, experienced, and knowledgeable teachers. 

This position is for our Cape Coral Summer Camp campus, located at 939 SW7th Ct, Cape Coral, FL

Responsibilities include:

• Teach STEM or Art lessons with pre-made lessons plans
• Track student progress and present the information to parents
• Reinforce classroom rules and Full STEAM Ahead expectations
• Manage students outside the classroom, such as during lunch breaks and "Free Explore" 
• Work full 40 hour weeks during summer. (Not necessary to commit to EVERY week of summer)
• Work with the "STEAM Culture" elements to promote student behavior and growth
• Assist in End of Day cleanup and organization
• Assist with student check in/out
• Maintain classroom equipment and inventory

Training is included for STEM and Art teaching roles. 

Background checks and fingerprinting are required for this position. 

The Full Time STEM Teacher position is a 40 hour per week position that combines offsite STEM teaching at satellite sites with on campus teaching at Full STEAM Ahead Naples and/or Full STEAM Ahead Ft Myers. 

Responsibilities include:

• Teach STEM lessons with pre-made lessons plans provided by Full STEAM Ahead
• Create new lesson plans and teach those plans
• Track student progress and present the information to parents
• Reinforce classroom rules and Full STEAM Ahead expectations
• Manage students inside and outside the classroom, such as during lunch breaks and "Free Explore" 
• Teach STEAM classes offsite at a partner school 
• Communicate with partner schools and be a liaison between STEAM and partner schools 
• Drive a STEAM van (15 passenger van) to pick up students from specified schools
• Work with the "STEAM Culture" elements to promote student behavior and growth
• Assist in end of day cleanup and organization
• Assist with student check in/out
• Maintain STEM classroom equipment and inventory
• Teach during Mini Camps (School Break Camps)
• Teach during Summer Camps

The Exploration Facilitator at Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead is a passionate, energetic individual with experience working with children in large groups in an educational setting. They are responsible for leading the “Exploration” activities (open ended STEAM Challenges) for student groups of up to 12 students. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Arrive by 3:30 for setup and organization
• Lead “Exploration” activities for up to 12 children 
• Help teachers and students with STEM and Art Activities
• Assist in organization and management of all students at Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead
• Assist in snack time setup and cleanup
• Assist in check-in/check-out 
• Plan games and activities to go with “Free Explore”*
• Maintain Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead tech & equipment
• Help/play with/guide students during Free Explore 

The Art teacher at Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead is a passionate, energetic individual with experience working with children in small and large groups in an educational setting. They are responsible for leading a lesson for student groups of up to 12 students. Must have a clean driving record. Strong art skills and experience working with groups of children are a must. Strong tech skills are preferred. 

This position is primarily for our After School Program which runs daily during the school year on school days. We also host full day "Mini Camps" on days off from school, and Full Day Summer Camps each full week of summer. 

Responsibilities include:

• Teach art lessons with pre-made lessons plans
• Create new lesson plans and teach those plans to the class
• Track student progress and present the information to parents
• Reinforce classroom rules and Full STEAM Ahead expectations
• Manage students outside the classroom, such as during lunch breaks and "Free Explore" 
• Arrive at 2:00 pm for setup and organization on school days
• Drive a STEAM van (15 passenger van) to pick up students from specified schools
• Work with the "STEAM Culture" elements to promote student behavior and growth
• Assist in End of Day cleanup and organization
• Assist with student check in/out
• Maintain Art classroom equipment and inventory
• Mini Camps (School Break Camps)

A Summer Camp Director is the sturdy backbone behind each Full STEAM Ahead Summer Camp campus. They are a passionate and innovative educator with strong leadership skills. Multi-tasking abilities are a must. Summer Camp Directors are responsible for:

• Manage the operations of their Summer Camp Program
• Ensuring their Summer Camp runs smoothly and remains safe
• Provide a world-class learning environment for the students.

Summer Camp Directors accomplish this through:

• Training and guiding Summer Camp Teachers
• Communicating with parents and families
• Managing class enrollments
• Maintaining the physical classroom spaces
• Ensuring quality and fidelity of Full STEAM Ahead programs
• Leading and communicating with staff
• Manage the flow of children throughout the day/week
• Tracking attendance, payments, early/late drop-off, etc

In addition, the Summer Camp Director must be able to:

• Teach STEM or Arts classes when needed
• Be highly effective at managing student behavior

This position runs following the school calendar during full weeks in summer only. Additional prep, training time and work is required before summer starts and after summer ends. 

Summer Camp Directors will complete the Full STEAM Ahead Director training program to provide all of the necessary skills and background information needed to be successful.
