Job Summary
Join our iconic upscale Spanish restaurant group as a Catering/Event Sales Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving private event sales across our Main Line and Center City locations. With a focus on authentic Andalucian cuisine and hospitality, you will engage with a diverse clientele to create memorable experiences for corporate and social events. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your existing network while working in a vibrant and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Sales Management: Prospect, develop, and close new private event business, including corporate dining, milestone celebrations, and full restaurant buyouts.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain active relationships with local businesses, corporate accounts, chambers of commerce, hotel concierges, and event planners.
- Networking: Tap into the Greater Philadelphia hospitality ecosystem to capture inbound event business.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the complete event sales cycle from inquiry through execution, collaborating closely with culinary and front-of-house operations teams.
- Event Management Tools: Utilize Tripleseat for event management, ensuring an organized and accurate pipeline with regular reporting to leadership.
- Community Engagement: Represent the brand at community events, networking functions, and industry gatherings to continuously build the event pipeline.
- Revenue Goals: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly private event revenue targets across both locations.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of event sales or private dining sales experience in an upscale restaurant, hotel, or hospitality venue.
- Demonstrated book of business in the Main Line and/or greater Philadelphia market.
- Active relationships with local chambers of commerce, hotels, corporate accounts, or event planners are strongly preferred.
- Polished communication and presentation skills with a guest-first sales approach.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities across two locations.
- Experience with Tripleseat, OpenTable, or similar event/reservation management software is a plus.
- Must reside in or near the Main Line area with a regular in-person presence required at both locations.
Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring an in-person presence at both locations.
