Job Description: As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fast-casual restaurant. You will lead a team, oversee daily activities & work closely with the Kitchen Manager to maintain high standards of service and food quality. Your leadership will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring all areas function efficiently
- Coordinate with the Kitchen Manager to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery
- Maintain a clean, organized & safe working environment
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Manage and motivate team members, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels, assisting with ordering & restocking as needed
- Conduct opening and/or closing procedures, including cash handling and end-of-day reports
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist in training and onboarding new employees
- Resolve conflicts or issues that arise during the shift, escalating to higher management when necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the restaurant industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends & holidays

Station No. 3 is hiring an experienced Kitchen Manager/Lead Line Cook to join our team for our Benton Park location and Kirkwood location (opening September 2024)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff
- Prioritize and prepare orders accurately and timely
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Manage inventory and maintain FIFO protocol
- Communicate daily with other KM and GM
- Ensure proper food handling and safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Work closely with commissary kitchen
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a line cook and supervisor
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for 8+ hours
- Hep A vaccination and ServSafe certification
- Plant-based preparation experience is a plus
- Have reliable transportion as you may have to pick up items at the commissary kitchen
