Job Summary
Frida’s and Bonito Bar are seeking an experienced Closing Lead Bartender to help lead our evening service and ensure exceptional guest experiences every night.
This role combines craft bartending, service leadership, and closing management responsibilities. As the Closing Lead Bartender, you will oversee bar operations during evening service, prepare high-quality cocktails, support the service team, and ensure the bar and dining room close smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Craft Bartending & Guest Experience
• Serve guests food and beverages with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine hospitality
• Prepare and serve classic cocktails, martinis, margaritas, and house specialty drinks
• Maintain consistent drink quality and presentation according to house standards
• Run drinks and assist servers when needed to maintain smooth service
• Engage with guests and help create a welcoming and memorable bar experience
Bar Operations
• Batch cocktails and assist with beverage prep as needed
• Open and close the bar according to company procedures
• Maintain proper nightly stocking and organization of bar inventory
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service
• Perform general bar cleaning and sanitation duties during and after service
Leadership & Shift Oversight
• Help manage serving staff and maintain service expectations during shifts
• Support host operations and assist with reservations when needed
• Ensure teamwork and communication between front-of-house staff
• Step in wherever needed to keep service running smoothly
Administrative & Closing Responsibilities
• Complete nightly closing procedures and end-of-shift reports
• Close out the nightly cash drawer and ensure accurate cash handling
• Assist with weekly beverage and bar supply ordering
• Maintain inventory awareness and communicate supply needs to management
What We’re Looking For
• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or cocktail lounge required
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and craft beverage preparation
• Leadership or shift lead experience preferred
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during high-volume service
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional, friendly, and guest-focused attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable closing the bar independently

Frida’s and Bonito Bar is seeking an experienced Part-Time Closing Bartender to join our front-of-house team. This role is responsible for managing the bar during evening service, preparing cocktails for both bar guests and the dining room, and ensuring the bar closes smoothly at the end of the night.
This is a high-volume bartending position that requires strong organization, speed, and attention to detail. The bartender will manage a 12-seat bar while simultaneously serving as the service bartender for the entire restaurant, preparing drinks for servers and supporting overall service flow.
The ideal candidate is confident behind the bar, comfortable leading during closing shifts, and able to maintain high standards of hospitality while working efficiently during busy service periods.
This position may also expand into full-time hours through additional bartending or serving shifts depending on availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Bartending & Guest Service
• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages accurately and efficiently
• Serve guests seated at the bar while maintaining attentive hospitality
• Take food orders for bar guests and coordinate with the kitchen team
• Maintain a welcoming and engaging atmosphere at the bar
Service Bar Operations
• Prepare drinks for the entire restaurant during service
• Communicate with servers to ensure drink orders are accurate and timely
• Maintain strong service flow between the bar, servers, and kitchen
Bar Operations & Organization
• Manage bar inventory and assist with nightly restocking
• Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar
• Ensure bar tools, glassware, and ingredients remain stocked during service
Closing Responsibilities
• Complete bar closing procedures and ensure the bar is properly cleaned and reset
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards throughout the shift
• Assist with end-of-night operational tasks as needed
Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a restaurant or bar environment
• At least 1 year of supervisory or shift leadership experience preferred
• Knowledge of classic cocktails and craft beverage preparation
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume service environment
• Friendly, engaging personality with strong hospitality skills
• Ability to multitask while maintaining drink quality and service standards
