EVENT COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports directly to: Fifth Wheel Catering General Manager

Job Overview 

This position is responsible for assistance with the sale, planning, and execution of private events and public gatherings at Baileys’ Restaurants units, off-site venues, and at our event spaces, Willow & Slate. The Event Coordinator will assist with the administration of event-related correspondence and client meetings from the initial inquiry all the way through execution. The Event Coordinator fosters guest relationships and drives event business as an ambassador of our brand, quality, and values. This position requires creativity and imagination to conceptualize new events as well as detail-oriented, logistical expertise to accomplish them. 

Responsibilities:

• Actively maintains correspondence for the Fifth Wheel Catering through the use of email, phone, and Tripleseat. Follows up on all leads and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 
• Coordinates with culinary, operations, accounting and purchasing departments during the planning process to ensure accurate and seamless execution of events. 
• In a detail-oriented and systematic fashion, ensures accurate and timely creation and administration of Banquet Event Orders.
• Provides on-site support to service staff members, clients and customers during events from beginning to end.
• Maintains working understanding of Baileys’ standard operating procedures, both generally and as applied within specific restaurant units. 
• Collaborates with Catering Chef de Cuisine, Catering General Manager, and Beverage Director to create catering menus and specific proposals for events.
