You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.
Fine Dining Server Responsibilities Include:
- Suggestively sell beverages and menu items
- Responsible for having a strong food knowledge base
- Very detailed understanding and memorization of the current menu items which include all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, food and specials
- Attends the daily pre-shift meeting to learn any important daily information any other scheduled staff meetings
- Complete all assigned pre-shift side duties in a timely manner
- Stocking, polishing silver, glass and dishware, setting, bussing and clearing tables, trash and recycling removal, expediting food, serving food and drinks, waiting tables
- Must have explicit knowledge of the menus and be able to make recommendations answer questions regarding dish preparations
- Monitor and observe guests' dining experiences
- Keeps the chefs and managers informed of any issues that might affect quality or timing of service
- Wait on customers
Fine Dining Server Requirements:
- Minimum of one year experience as a server,
- Fine dining experience - preferred
- Previous knowledge of touch screen POS systems - preferred
- Basic wine, beer, and spirits knowledge
- Innovative, sales forward and trustworthy.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- TABC Certified
