Job Summary

Elizabeth’s is seeking professional and service-driven Servers to join our fine-dining hospitality team in downtown Washington, DC. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through attentive service, detailed menu knowledge, and seamless coordination with the kitchen and bar teams.

Elizabeth’s offers a refined dining experience featuring a seasonal multi-course vegan tasting menu served in an intimate historic townhouse setting. 

Servers play an important role in guiding guests through each course while maintaining the high standards expected in an elevated dining environment.

The ideal candidate is polished, organized, and passionate about hospitality, with the ability to manage multiple tables while delivering thoughtful, personalized service.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Hospitality

• Provide attentive and professional fine-dining service to all guests

• Guide guests through the tasting menu and explain each course with confidence

• Offer thoughtful beverage and wine pairing recommendations

• Anticipate guest needs and maintain a high level of hospitality throughout the dining experience

Order Management & Service Execution

• Enter accurate orders and course timing into the POS system

• Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure proper pacing of courses

• Deliver food and beverages with precision and attention to presentation

Dining Room Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized service section throughout the evening

• Reset tables and prepare the dining room for incoming reservations

• Assist teammates when necessary to maintain seamless service

Restaurant Knowledge & Standards

• Stay knowledgeable about menu ingredients, dietary considerations, and seasonal changes

• Maintain familiarity with the tasting menu format and pacing of service

• Uphold high standards of professionalism, appearance, and guest interaction

Requirements

• Previous experience serving in a fine dining or upscale restaurant preferred

• Strong communication and guest service skills

• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail

• Professional demeanor and polished presentation

• Passion for hospitality and guest experience

Schedule

• Evening service shifts

• Restaurant operates Thursday through Saturday evenings

• Availability for these service nights required
