The Expeditor is responsible for coordinating and organizing orders from the kitchen to ensure timely, accurate, and visually perfect dishes are delivered to guests. You’ll be the gatekeeper of quality, speed, and presentation — a calm and focused presence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate clearly and efficiently between kitchen staff and front-of-house team

• Ensure food orders are complete, plated correctly, and meet presentation standards before leaving the line

• Maintain ticket order and timing to ensure smooth flow of service

• Prioritize and organize multiple orders simultaneously without delay

• Assist in garnishing or final presentation touches when needed

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pass-through window and expo station

• Communicate any delays, issues, or dietary concerns clearly to servers or management

• Support kitchen or service staff during high-volume shifts as needed

About the Role

Eggman ATX is hiring Line Cooks for our Round Rock location. This is a fast-paced breakfast kitchen role ideal for candidates with experience in food preparation, grill and egg cooking, food safety compliance, and high-volume made-to-order service. We run a tight, high-standards kitchen with no microwaves and no shortcuts — just quality ingredients, speed, and craft.

Pay: $17–$20/hour + tips

Core Skills & Qualifications

• Grill operation and egg cookery (fried, scrambled, sandwiches)
• Food preparation and mise en place
• Made-to-order cooking in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
• Food safety and sanitation compliance (Food Handler Certification or ServSafe a plus)
• Portion control and recipe adherence
• Kitchen equipment operation (flat-top grill, fryer, food prep stations)
• Speed and accuracy under pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Morning and breakfast shift availability preferred
• Previous line cook, prep cook, or kitchen experience preferred — willing to train the right candidate

• Prepare and cook all menu items to Eggman ATX quality standards — made-to-order, every time
• Operate flat-top grill, fryer, and food prep stations with speed and precision
• Assemble NYC-inspired breakfast sandwiches using house-made sauces and fresh ingredients
• Maintain portion control and consistent food quality and presentation across every order

Food Safety & Kitchen Standards

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout each shift
• Conduct proper food storage, labeling, and temperature monitoring
• No microwaves. No shortcuts. Every item is fresh and made-to-order

Team & Operations

• Communicate clearly with front-of-house team to maintain fast, accurate service
• Support restocking and inventory replenishment during and between shifts
• Contribute to a positive, high-energy kitchen culture built on good vibes and high standards
