Description
Assistant to the general manager
Responsibilites include:
This role will be to assist with the opening of the restaurant. It will consist of interviewing, hiring, training the new staff.
This positon will work/learn directly from ownership and will work towards the General Manager position.
Salary will be based off of experience and ability.
- Management of all daily operations
- Management of staff
- Oversight of daily revenue and cost of goods.
- Ordering/ Inventory Management
- Team building
- Knowledge of profit and loss
- Exceptional customer service skills and experience
- Ability to mulititask in a high volume environment

- Assisting kitchen staff in general food preparation and food safety.
- General kitchen maintenance and upkeep
- Prepping food to spec according to company recipes and procedures.
- Receiving and rotating of all incoming product.
- Ability to prioritize the kitchens needs and to work off a prep list.

Responsibilites include:
- Make cold appetizers, including salads, and desserts.
- Garnish dishes with spices, nuts, fruit and vegetables
- Prepare dressings, dips and herb-infused oils
- Perform meal-prep activities before guests arrive (like chopping vegetables, cutting fish and meat and washing fruits)
- Store ingredients to keep them fresh and reduce food wastage
- Check food plating, temperature and portions for all cold dishes
- Sterilize kitchen equipment at the end of your shift
- Monitor stock and communitcate with leads.
- Maintain a clean station at all times
