Since 1987, Chris’ Pancake & Dining has been serving up hearty breakfasts, comforting lunches, and warm hospitality to the St. Louis community. We take pride in our scratch-made recipes and consistent quality, and our kitchen team is the heartbeat of our restaurant. As a line cook, you’ll help bring our menu to life, working in a fast-paced, supportive environment where every plate matters.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines

  • Set up and stock your station with all necessary supplies before service

  • Work efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining consistency and quality

  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

  • Keep your workstation clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift

  • Assist with prep work for upcoming services when needed

  • Communicate clearly with fellow cooks, servers, and managers to ensure timely service

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed

  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Team player who’s dependable and eager to learn
