    Job Description

Carbon Members Club is an ultra-private, invitation-only dining and cigar lounge experience built around discretion, elevated hospitality, and a strong sense of community. We are seeking a highly driven Assistant General Manager to help lead daily operations and uphold the standard of excellence our members expect.

This is not a corporate restaurant role—this is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands luxury service, anticipates needs before they are spoken, and thrives in a high-expectation, relationship-driven environment.

    What You’ll Do

    • Support the Head of Ops/General Manager in all day-to-day operations of the club
    • Lead front-of-house service with precision, professionalism, and presence
    • Act as a floor leader during service—guiding staff, managing flow, and ensuring consistency
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with members; recognize preferences and personalize experiences
    • Oversee reservations, table management, and private member requests
    • Train, coach, and develop FOH staff to meet Carbon’s service standards
    • Maintain accountability for service timing, cleanliness, and overall guest experience
    • Assist with inventory, vendor coordination, and operational systems
    • Step in wherever needed—this is a leadership-by-example role

    What We’re Looking For

    • 2–5+ years in restaurant or hospitality management (fine dining or private club experience preferred)
    • Strong understanding of high-end service standards and guest expectations
    • Confident, calm, and composed under pressure
    • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Professional appearance and demeanor
    • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and late-night service

    What Sets You Apart

    • Experience in luxury, boutique, or membership-based environments
    • Wine, spirits, or cigar knowledge
    • A natural ability to read a room and anticipate guest needs
    • Strong emotional intelligence and discretion

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Competitive salary (based on experience)
    • Growth opportunity within a high-level hospitality concept

    Why Carbon

This is an opportunity to be part of something rare—a hospitality concept built on exclusivity, consistency, and genuine relationships. We are a small, tight-knit team with high standards and zero tolerance for mediocrity.

If you’re looking to step into a role where your presence actually matters, this is that place.
