Blood & Sand is looking to expand its kitchen team with motivated and forward thinking individuals. Experience is a must.

Responsibilites include:

  • Must have experience working in a professional, fine dining kitchen.  
  • Assist Chef in menu planning and execution.
  • Inventory management.
  • Overseeing food preparation and general practice.
  • Supervising kitchen staff.
  • Ability to adhere to proper food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation guidelines. 
  • Being fully responsible for working a station, including prepping, cleaning and maintaining the line.
  • Monitoring ticket times and food quality and having an eye for detail.
  • Able to follow recipes and verbal directions.
  • Good communication skills, especially with regards to low product counts.
  • Being able to organize and plan your time effectively.
  • Come in on time, ready to work every day.
  • Strive to constantly improve - including learning the menu in full detail, learning other stations, taking on more responsibility as your skill set develops.
