Job Summary
Aubrey Lounge STL is seeking an experienced Full-Time Line Cook to join our kitchen team at our upscale dining and cocktail lounge in St. Louis. Our kitchen focuses on consistency, quality, and teamwork to ensure every guest receives an exceptional dining experience.
Line Cooks play a vital role in executing menu items to the highest standards while maintaining efficiency during service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in producing high-quality dishes with attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
Food Preparation & Execution
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning
• Execute dishes efficiently during busy service periods
• Ensure all food leaving the kitchen meets Aubrey’s quality standards
Kitchen Operations
• Maintain clean and organized workstations throughout service
• Assist with prep work and ingredient preparation when needed
• Follow proper food storage, labeling, and rotation procedures
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team during service
Food Safety & Sanitation
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Properly handle and store food to ensure safety and freshness
What We’re Looking For
• Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and food quality
• Ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures
• Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Schedule
• Full-time hours
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
