Host Responsibilities
As a Host at Arzola’s, you are a pivotal part of the guest experience. You represent both the first and last impression guests have of our restaurant. This role goes far beyond managing a waitlist—you’ll engage guests with warmth, efficiency, and genuine hospitality while supporting the entire front-of-house team.
Key responsibilities include:

Delivering our promise of Legendary Hospitality to every guest

Warmly welcoming guests, opening doors, assisting with coats, and offering guidance
-
Managing and maintaining an accurate waitlist; offering cocktails and beverages during the wait
-
Greeting and escorting guests to assigned tables
-
Recognizing and acknowledging Queso Club Loyalty Members
-
Providing menus and introducing guests to their server
-
Answering phone calls, fielding guest questions, and directing guests to online ordering when appropriate
-
Assisting service staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements & Qualifications

Team-oriented hospitality professional with prior host or similar service experience

Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to multitask effectively

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while standing and moving for extended periods

Calm, patient, and composed under pressure

Sales or guest engagement experience is a plus
