Position Summary

The Full Time Teacher for our 3-year-old class is responsible for creating a safe, loving, engaging classroom environment where young children can explore, learn, and thrive. This role also includes assisting with outdoor play supervision and partnering with our team to maintain a positive, family-centered atmosphere.

Requirements

• Experience in early childhood education preferred
• Mature, dependable, and sensitive to the needs of young children
• Ability to build strong, positive relationships with children and families
• Must pass a criminal background check

Key Responsibilities

•  Lead teacher and engage the 3-year-old class in daily routines, activities, learning and communicating with families. 
• Execute the lesson plan that is provided by administration
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play to ensure safety
• Maintain a warm, encouraging atmosphere consistent with our preschool’s mission
• Work as part of the A Good Start Preschool team to support all classrooms as needed
