Key Responsibilities

• Delivering Exceptional Classes
  • Create a unique class experience that reflects your personality while adhering to YogaSix standards.
  • Set up and manage the practice room, including props, mat spacing, music, and lighting.
  • Provide top-notch instruction, ensuring student safety and engagement.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the practice room and prop area after each class.
• Building Connection & Community
  • Prepare to connect with students at least 15 minutes before class starts.
  • Establish personal connections with each student and follow up with them after class.
  • Support studio success through event promotion and attention to new students.

Requirements

• Minimum 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification.
• 6 months of teaching experience preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Warm, approachable, and outgoing personality.
• Genuine ability to connect with diverse individuals.
• Commitment to personal growth and ongoing development.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and clients.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in studio software.

Schedule
Teachers are required to teach a minimum of 3 classes per week over at least two days.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service
  • Serve as the first and last point of contact for students, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Conduct studio tours and educate prospects on class offerings, products, and pricing.
• New Member Acquisition and Retention
  • Book appointments and contact leads to establish relationships and encourage class attendance.
  • Present membership and class package options tailored to students' goals following their first class.
  • Ensure proper onboarding for new members and maintain a clean, inviting studio environment.
• Studio Operations & Promotion
  • Participate in community events to promote the studio and engage with potential members.
  • Assist in maintaining studio cleanliness and safety.

Requirements

• Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and phone skills.
• Goal-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn studio software systems.
• Must be able to manage daily and occasional travel for events and training.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, diverse environment using sound judgment.
• Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and navigate stairs.

Schedule
This is a part-time position with a consistent, recurring schedule and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts.

• A sense of humor and enthusiasm for teaching.
• 1+ years of teaching experience preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.

• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
