Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to assist in managing all kitchen operations. This role will work closely with our Kitchen Manager and will be instrumental in leading our team and managing daily shifts. Located in the heart of St. Louis’ most iconic landmark, we balance a sophisticated full-service menu with the fast-paced energy of a premier destination.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Command the Line: Thoroughly learn every station to provide hands-on support and training. You will be the primary anchor as our Expeditor during high-volume dinner services, ensuring seamless communication between the kitchen and front-of-house.
    • Operational Oversight: Assist in managing inventory, reducing waste, and hitting food and labor cost targets without compromising quality. 

    • Team Leadership: Work closely with the Kitchen Manager in providing direction and mentorship to the evening crew. You’ll be responsible for maintaining morale and high performance during the "rush." This position will require working evening shifts, providing a counterbalance to our Kitchen Manager's schedule.

    • Quality Control: Uphold rigorous standards for food safety, sanitation, and plating consistency to ensure every guest has a "destination-worthy" meal.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven Leadership: At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role within a high-volume, full-service kitchen.

    • Composure Under Pressure: The ability to stay level-headed and decisive when the rails get hot.

    • Operational Savvy: Practical experience with inventory management and a solid understanding of how labor costs impact the bottom line.

    • Flexibility: Availability to work evening shifts and weekends, including Sundays.

    • Adaptive Mindset: Willingness to assist with our unique and high volume seasonal pop-ups and special events throughout the year.
