Job Summary
Station No. 3 is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our Kirkwood location and help take the business to the next level.
This role is responsible for overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, developing team members, maintaining service and food quality standards, and ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably.
Station No. 3 is part of the KR Restaurants group and is known for great food, friendly service, and a culture built on teamwork and integrity. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong teams, and takes ownership of restaurant performance.
This role includes a mix of salaried leadership responsibilities and hands-on operational support during service.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Leadership & Operations
• Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house restaurant operations
• Ensure consistent service standards, food quality, and cleanliness
• Lead shifts when needed and support the team during busy service periods
• Maintain strong communication between kitchen and service teams
Staffing, Hiring & Training
• Review resumes, interview candidates, and assist with hiring decisions
• Onboard and train new team members
• Mentor staff and identify future leaders within the organization
• Foster a positive team culture built on accountability and professionalism
Scheduling & Labor Management
• Create and manage FOH and BOH staff schedules
• Monitor labor costs and adjust staffing to meet operational needs
• Ensure proper coverage during peak business hours
Financial & Operational Performance
• Monitor and manage food costs and labor targets
• Complete daily closing reports and operational updates
• Attend weekly owner meetings to review performance and goals
Inventory & Restaurant Maintenance
• Manage food and supply inventory and ordering
• Retrieve items from commissary as needed (vehicle required)
• Maintain restaurant décor and assist with seasonal or promotional updates
Guest Experience
• Address guest concerns professionally and ensure service recovery when needed
• Maintain a strong focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Ensure every guest receives consistent, high-quality service
Marketing & Brand Support
• Assist with marketing initiatives and social media content when needed
• Help maintain brand consistency across operations and guest experience
Requirements
• Minimum 2+ years of restaurant management experience
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to operational detail
• Reliable, accountable, and aligned with company values
• Ability to manage both operational tasks and leadership responsibilities
• Must have a reliable vehicle for commissary runs and operational needs
Schedule Requirements
• Ability to work 40–50 hours per week
• Must be available 5 days per week with 2 consecutive days off
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
