Job Summary
Station No. 3 is seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Line Cook to help oversee kitchen execution and maintain consistent food quality during service. This role plays a key part in keeping the kitchen organized, supporting the culinary team, and ensuring every dish leaving the line meets our standards.
The Lead Line Cook works closely with the kitchen team to maintain strong communication, efficient service flow, and a clean, well-organized kitchen environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in precision and teamwork, and is ready to help lead by example during busy shifts.
What You’ll Do
Food Preparation & Execution
• Prepare and cook menu items with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
• Ensure all dishes meet presentation, portion, and quality standards
• Maintain consistency with recipes and cooking techniques during service
Station Setup & Kitchen Organization
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation
• Assist with prep work and ingredient preparation as needed
• Rotate inventory and assist with receiving deliveries when required
Kitchen Operations & Teamwork
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members
• Support smooth service flow between the kitchen and dining room
• Stay calm and efficient during high-volume service periods
• Work collaboratively with the team to keep the kitchen running smoothly
Food Safety & Cleanliness
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain a clean kitchen and workstation throughout the shift
• Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients according to kitchen standards
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience working in a professional kitchen preferred
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking methods
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
• Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and food quality
Availability Requirement
• Must be available Friday through Sunday
