Rec Hall is seeking a friendly and dependable Host/Hostess to be the first face our guests see upon arrival. In this dynamic role, you will be stationed at the front counter, welcoming guests, managing admissions, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations. If you thrive in a fun, high-energy environment and enjoy making lasting impressions, this position is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Collect and accurately handle cover/admission payments.
• Check guests in and provide wristbands or other admission identification as necessary.
• Answer questions about Rec Hall, including events, activities, and pricing.
• Explain current specials, events, and entertainment options.
• Monitor the entrance to maintain an organized flow of guests.
• Assist with reservations and reserved seating as needed.
• Communicate guest needs effectively with bartenders, managers, and event staff.
• Keep the front counter and entrance area clean and organized.
• Follow Rec Hall's age, admission, and guest policies.
• Handle cash and/or POS transactions accurately.
• Help create a welcoming, fun, and professional atmosphere.

Requirements

• Outgoing and personable demeanor.
• Comfortable interacting with all types of guests.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Experience handling money and cash transactions.
• Able to remain calm and friendly during busy times.
• Attentive to details and guest needs.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and busy event nights.
• Previous experience in restaurant, bar, hospitality, or customer service is a plus, but not required.
