Event Coordinator - Part Time

PABLO is seeking a passionate and organized Event Coordinator to help bring memorable events to life in our vibrant venue. From birthday celebrations and private parties to corporate gatherings and Greek events, you will be the main point of contact, ensuring each event runs smoothly from start to finish. If you're outgoing, detail-oriented, and love working with people, this role is a perfect fit for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries for events and large parties.
• Book and coordinate birthdays, private parties, Greek events, corporate events, and large group gatherings.
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and the Columbia community.
• Identify opportunities to attract new events and groups to PABLO.
• Assist guests in selecting suitable spaces, food, drinks, and overall experience for their events.
• Coordinate event details with management, kitchen, bar, VIP, and service teams.
• Track upcoming events, guest counts, deposits, and special requests.
• Communicate with event hosts prior to their events to ensure everything is prepared for their arrival.
• Be present for select events as needed to ensure seamless execution.
• Follow up with guests post-event to foster repeat business.

Requirements

• An outgoing and confident personality, with excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with sales and proactive in reaching out to potential clients.
• Ability to manage multiple events and conversations simultaneously.
• Reliable follow-through on tasks and commitments.
• Knowledge of Columbia and the local community is a plus.
• Experience in restaurant, hospitality, events, or sales is a plus.

Compensation

Hourly pay plus event booking incentives.
