As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced General Manager to lead operations and drive expansion.

Position Overview

The General Manager will oversee the overall performance and growth of Junk King Kansas City. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, logistics, team leadership, and sales performance while implementing strategies to support long-term growth. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with both management and sales experience who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, logistics, routing, and scheduling to ensure efficient service delivery

  • Lead, manage, and develop field staff, drivers, and support personnel

  • Drive revenue growth through sales leadership, process improvements, and market development

  • Implement systems and procedures to support scalable and profitable growth

  • Monitor and manage budgets, financial performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and brand representation

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations

  • Collaborate with ownership on strategic planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in general management, operations management, or a similar leadership role

  • Demonstrated sales experience with the ability to drive revenue and manage performance

  • Strong background in logistics, operations, or service-based businesses

  • Experience leading, coaching, and holding teams accountable

  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and strong leadership presence
