June's is looking for thoughtful people to join our Crew as a Kitchen Expo. If you are eager to learn, work with seasonal, local ingredients, be a part of a team and serve the community wholesome food, please apply. We're seeking experienced individuals to help us grow and elevate our level of service.
Responsibilities include:

Expedite meals to service with attention; working with kitchen (back-of-house) and the cashier/baristas (front-of-house), ensuring dishes are correctly prepared, garnished, and sent to the table in a timely manner

Oversee kitchen operations, staff & communicate operational needs to ensure highest quality of service is provided.

Adhere to food safety guidelines + maintain kitchen cleanliness

Other responsibilities as required: We are a small and nimble team that works together across the property. There will be opportunities for baking, kitchen prep, inventory management, and other responsibilities.
Qualifications include:

4+ years experience in a commercial kitchen; experience as a chef de cuisine or sous chef is a great plus

Great attention to detail checking food temperature, presentation, and accuracy before it leaves the kitchen.

Organization & prioritization skills for organizing tickets to ensure all items for a table arrive together.

Great communicator; the lead liaison between cooks, food runners and FOH staff relaying special requests or modifications.

Must have weekend availability (Saturday + Sunday)
